The Wait or, the Act of Eating
“Ciclo Internacional de Performance” Festival, organized by Perve Gallery, Lisbon, 2009. Length: 20 minutes.

In this performance I worked on the concept of waiting as anxiety. Time is regulated by the minute through a video that shows the movement of the second hand of an alarm clock. Every minute the sound of an alarm will signal me to change/go forward. In front of me there is a table and 20 plates with different types of food. I eat the contents of each plate at a rate of one per minute. In the end the table is completely empty.
